johnboy 0 #1 November 7, 2008 I'm probably not googling the right search terms, but does anyone know the total count of voters country wide this year? Pure curiosity.

kelpdiver 2 #4 November 7, 2008 the final result is perhaps a couple weeks out, but if give or take a million is ok, the current numbers should be close enough. The turnout measured against registered voters jumped, but it's still less than impressive when compared to the national population. I don't know if there is an accurate measure of the count for eligible voters (18, non felon, citizen).
rushmc 23 #5 November 7, 2008 Not a record turnout. From a total or from most of the demographics looked at. Simply said, nearly the same as in 04"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
