Anybody know how many people voted this year?

I'm probably not googling the right search terms, but does anyone know the total count of voters country wide this year? Pure curiosity.

Not all ballots of been counted so the total will rise a bit.

the final result is perhaps a couple weeks out, but if give or take a million is ok, the current numbers should be close enough.

The turnout measured against registered voters jumped, but it's still less than impressive when compared to the national population. I don't know if there is an accurate measure of the count for eligible voters (18, non felon, citizen).
