quade 4 #1 November 4, 2008 Four hours and counting until the very first east coast numbers start trickling in. Maybe earlier if leaked, but they don't happen officially until 5pm eastern. Kind of a slow news day until then really. quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
kelpdiver 2 #2 November 4, 2008 Quote Kind of a slow news day until then really. Hours of videos of crowded polling stations. The same quote about how happy with tears they are to see such a long line. Yeah, no point waking up before 8.
ltdiver 3 #3 November 4, 2008 Quote Hours of videos of crowded polling stations. The same quote about how happy with tears they are to see such a long line. Then there are those here in California who believe the voting won't be that big here, because the East Coast polls will be posted before they get off work. That CA votes won't really make a difference.... Personally I don't believe this, but some workers at the polling station nearby voiced this opinion. Prop 8 will bring them out, if nothing else! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
quade 4 #4 November 4, 2008 Even if some Californians don't think their Presidential vote counts for much (which they'd be amazingly wrong about BTW), I'm pretty sure that most have a very strong opinion about the outcome of Prop 8. I see Californians voting right up until closing on this one.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
BikerBabe 0 #5 November 4, 2008 heh, i just got a recorded phone call about getting out to vote and not letting the coverage discourage me from voting. Paid for by one of the senatorial candidates.Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!

My mom called me Sunday because her and my dad were filling out their ballots and wanted some final advice. It ended up taking an hour or so of listing pros & cons, and totally made me feel all warm and fuzzy. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" headoverheels 334 #13 November 5, 2008 I'm seeing a huge Bradley effect. Moreso in more heavily red (polled) states. The difference in Virginia between exit polls and actual results (41% reporting) is HUGE.
