If you can't do it via the normal channels, it take congress to make someone a citizen, a single senator cannot do it. I think it speaks volumes for the man that he did not try to pressure anyone into bending the rules, there are many many examples of other politicians over the last 8 years using their elected position for personal and other criminal purposes, several of them are in jail or on the way. masterrig 1 #4 November 1, 2008 Makes one wonder... how many illegals does McCain have working at his many homes that he owns. I agree with the previous poster, Obama didn't use his 'contacts' to help his aunt. Also, we don't know 'all' of the story. McCain's 'people', have slung more dirt in this campaign against Obama, it's to the point of disgusting. He avoids answering direct questions with 'slams' on Obama. McCain also, changes his 'tune' with every interview or debate. Folks call Obama 'scarey'????????? Let's hear Obama's side of his aunt's story before we jump to conclusions. Casurf1978 0 #6 November 1, 2008 This country if facing the worst economic crisis since the great depression, we're going on 6 year in Iraq with no end in sight, and this is important to you. Really makes me wonder about the typical american voter and what is important to him or her. What's next? Might as well find out how many times the man bounced a check in his life, or if heaven forbid he forgot to run a full credit, background, FBI, NSA and CIA check on anyone he has hired. Your history here demonstrates that you jump on unproven rumors and take extreme negative positions on anything he is even remotely associated with. When he referred to "being called a communist because he shared his toy in kindergarten" he was referring to people like you. Do you have any proof that he ever talked to her about her immigration status or have any idea about how well he knew her. You do know his father had multiple wives on different continents don't you. caress 0 #14 November 1, 2008 I am reading all of these posts in here, and I am not going to argue about anything said in SC. I am having a hard time as it is with the lack of HONESTY, and INTEGRITY that this government has already. All Americans are paying for it all with our lives, money, whatever else we have. I cant see any of these bozos caring about America, or its people. However both of them want to stand up and try to sort all of this shit out. Aint nothing getting straighted out until people who are doing dirty dealings are held accountable for their actions, and I dont see any of that happening. Obamas Aunt is here illegally? She needs to stand up and take care of her business then. I dont see what any of this has to do with him until he involves himself with her business. Then we can question it.-caress I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.

We don't really know anything of fact in regard to the story. Just more shit McCain and his cronies are digging-up to try to make himself look better. It only tells me that McCain has 'problems'. When someone has to demean and denegrate someone else only to try to make himself look better... he has a problem. Denial? I haven't heard anyone deny anything as of this time. Why don't we wait and see, how this all turns-out before we jump to conclusions. Chuck

Gawain 0 #19 November 2, 2008 Quote This country if facing the worst economic crisis since the great depression, No we aren't. We're no where near that. Read a little history. Quote and this is important to you. And it should be to you or anyone that may be supporting Sen. Obama. He's the one preaching about being your "brother's keeper" and "spreading the wealth around" so that everyone has a "chance". Like $500/year does anything. Do you know how much money she has, do you know if he has ever given her cash, do you know anything about her financial situation? You have no idea if he even knew her alien status, the only info is from Obama and he said he had no idea about her status, do you have any data that suggests he did or are you just disagreeing with him and calling him a liar with no evidence because it gives you a way to attack him. That's the GOP way, you've been watching palin too much and its rubbing off.
