quade 4 #26 November 2, 2008 Note to PPK fans. In the piece I turned in (this is a theatrical piece btw) we had a few people in the group that "thought" they knew more about Bond than I and all voiced a preference for the PPK as Bond's weapon. What's funny about that is . . . moments before I had brought up the subject of how "real" and well researched a piece needed to be to be accepted and all voiced their opinion that if it really didn't matter at all. Especially of that opinion was the owner of the theater company. So, we do a table read of the piece and when the P99 is mentioned . . . people start flipping out that it -HAS- to be the PPK. "That's the only gun James Bond ever uses!" Especially the owner of the theater company. Oh for fuck sake. As if I wouldn't have researched it and would have brought up the topic if I didn't have a point. Hilarious. And I was worried about the 9mm vs .40SW issue. AggieDave 6 #27 November 2, 2008 Well, JB has to be a young Sean Connery, right? Not the true Connery, though, since he wore a hair piece in each of the Bond movies. Maybe you should bring that up too! --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

Maybe you should bring that up too! I knew that. Also, many probably don't know that Roger Moore is actually older than Connery. Besides still being attached to The Saint, the producers also thought that Moore looked like too much of a pretty boy when Connery was cast - another reason for waiting until Live and Let Die.
