Expats voting from overseas

Recommended Posts

If any of you are registered expats living overseas, who did request an absentee ballot before your state's deadline but have not received it yet, the US Federal government has an online site set up through the Overseas Vote Foundation to issue the ballot, fill it in and print it. It applies only to Federal elections (President & VIP/Senators/Reps). In addition, there is a Fedex service called Express your vote, which will have Fedex pick up your absentee ballot and get it to the proper location for the vote to be counted. Most US States have agreed to this program (I believe only Alabama has not). But the ballot needs to be picked up no later than October 30th, 2008. It is free from some countries (such as China:)Do vote people.
