That would: -let him recover. -give some other republican a chance to get "executive" experience, which no doubt will help in the election in 2016. Heck, he could appoint Sarah Palin! That way she could "show her chops" and play into the whole "I have more experience than Obama" thing. She could appear next to Bush in speeches to . . . wait, maybe that's not such a good idea. She could appear separately from him and answer questions about . . . well . . . OK, not such a good idea either. Maybe pick a solid potential candidate (say, Colin Powell) and appoint him.
