quade 4 #1 October 8, 2008 Who's watching what? I'll be CNN up to, but switching to CSpan for it proper. This is the "Town Hall" version that McCain specifically wanted and is in Nashville. Brokaw is moderating. Current Gallup 3 day moving average poll has Obama leading McCain 51 - 42.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

Why didn't the debate a couple weeks ago count as #1? I'll watch it on PBS. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" quade 4 #9 October 8, 2008 I'd love to have a chess clock on this. Just based on your personal perception and belief, who do you think is going over time more? Who's stealing time from the other guy?quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
quade 4 #10 October 8, 2008 Obama's microphone was fucked up; very muffled and distorted all night. The Brokaw ending was hilarious. Ok, serious question; What's the deal with McCain/Palin and their obsession with eBay?quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

livendive 8 #12 October 8, 2008 QuoteI'd love to have a chess clock on this. Just based on your personal perception and belief, who do you think is going over time more? Who's stealing time from the other guy? I saw McCain get done on green, yellow, and red (once each). I didn't see Obama get done in time a single time. That point goes to McCain in my book. Both parties were surprisingly prone to "Bushisms", i.e. they said things that were basically the opposite of what they meant. Both parties also, in at least a couple instances each, got so tied up in their talking points that they seemed to forget what the question was entirely, but I thought McCain was slightly worse in that regard. Overall, I didn't think it was a particularly good debate for either guy. If I had to pick a winner, it'd be Obama, but only by a small margin. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!"
