Quotemine was on synthesis, characterization, and reactivity of novel bis-substituted asymmetric metallo-porphyrins.
Hey, I have a book about that! It's paperback, with a bright yellow cover. It's called, Synthesis, Characterization, and Reactivity of Novel Bis-substituted Asymmetric Metallo-porphyrins for Idiots. About 30 pages, I guess, not including all the pictures.

QuoteMcCain turned his back on the families of POW/MIA's by refusing to talk with them. This "reconcilation" came when there was still the possibility of locating our guys left behind.Quote
Sen McCain's efforts toward reconciliation with former enemies is a positive indicator, imo.
Yes, Vietnam remains a communist political system and has been problems (e.g., human & civil rights violations); in the 1980s, they shifted to a market economy.
I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the additional information.

Why don't just just ask the poster in another thread who posted something like " ... he's hiding something, I just don't know what it is ...." or similar ? He was skeptic, too.

Question: Is it mandatory condition for a potential US president to let everybody read in his book of life? To be vitreous? From date of birth until the entrance of Oval Office?
What does it mean to you "1/3 of his adult life..." ? Perhaps about +/-9 yrs. If he spent 9 years in Goa singing Hallelujah and smoking tasty hand-rolled joints, who's biz is that?

if it affects the way he would do things as president, yes it is important, if it doesn't let it go. but we don't know until we have the full story. if Obama didn't want his life opened for all to see he should have stayed home and not run for president.

G.W. Bush hid a whole lot more than Obama. Still does.
Did you berate Bush? (If so, I don;t recall seeing it).

this is not between bush and obama this is between McCain & obama. i don't see McCain hiding things at least not to this point.
No, he did not go to Goa during that time but he did go to Pakistan and he has yet to confirm how he did that since it would have been almost impossible under a US passport.QuoteWhat does it mean to you "1/3 of his adult life..." ? Avoiding the question.
I bet you voted for Bush despite his Texas arrest records being sealed, his SEC investigation records being sealed (among other things).
Double standard showing.

you're really into conspiracy theories, aren't you. Not that there's anything wrong with that - after all, some of them are credible. Nonetheless, I think you're just a tad over the top sometimes. Obama is not out to destroy America [you can't destroy something that's already on its knees.]
Some say this election is about picking the lesser of 2 evils, and maybe that's true; others will say that Obama is inexperienced....and all I have to say in response to that is - look at where all the "experienced" politicians got us... I want none of it if this is what they do!! Either way you slice it, we're taking a risk with either candidate - and over my dead body will I, for 1 take a risk with McCain.
Kennedy was amongst the youngest presidents as well - it would be interesting to be able to go back in time and witness what people thought of him when he was running.

Quoteno double standard we knew about Bush's arrests and drug use. we don't know about Obama's dealings
What do you know about the SEC investigations of his insider trading? Nothing, they're sealed. As are his records as TX governor, as are the details of his arrests in Texas.
Looks like a double standard to me.

Great... just great.
So you are one of the ones who we can blame for electing an alcoholic, drug abusing deserter who had the business ethics and acumen of a rough skinned newt.
But.. at least there is no evidence of him ever getting a blow job.... Does it really matter that he is "in more dire need of a blow job than any white man in history"...as Airman Cronauer would say.
