More Democrat Wisdom on Fannie Mae/ Freddie Mac Scam

In 2005 the GOP had control of Senate, House and White House, chairmanship of the banking committee, a majority on the banking committee, weren't stopped by a filibuster, and still didn't get their bill passed. Talk about absence of leadership!

And McCain's campaign manager got $2M from Fannie/Freddie to lobby against regulatory reform.

And McCain himself braggs over and over about being a "deregulator".

And McCain supported Gramm Leach Bliley.

And McCain's advisor Phil Gramm accepted over $750,000 from UBS, which has over $18BILLION in sub-prime mortgages.

And McCain's advisor Phil Gramm sponsored the legislation creating the Enron Loophole while his wife was retained by Enron.

Nice glass house on a hill you've built there.

Dude, fucked up regulation and enforcement by your Dem buddies is what got us here. None of this shit you post has.

Hell even your buddy Bill Clinton blamed the Dems earlier this week.

No glass house, just another lame attempt at redirect

I will acept your white flag on this one[:/]

it will be because we destroyed ourselves."

It is indeed shocking that in 2004, the date of these videos, the Republicans controlled the White House, the Senate, and the House, and all the congressional committees, yet did nothing about it.

Shame on the Republicans.

More shame on the Dems - since 2006 as the problem got worse and worse, the Dem-controlled banking committee did nothing to put the bill forward to the Dem-controlled Congress for vote.

You are throwing stones from a glass house.

AAaahhhh
Yet ANOTHER topic change dear kallend?
Start and new thread and admit you got nothing to stand on here in this one

Tried looking up Gramm Leach Bliley Act? The one that McCain's advisor Phil Gramm co-authored.

Try looking up "Keating 5".

Try looking up "Enron Loophole".

In addition to not making a case, you are tossing stones from a very exposed glass house.

You may want to look and see what former Rep. Leach is up to these days.
