jimmytavino 16 #4 September 26, 2008 in what way WOULD GW Bush be qualified to understand the complexities of the current crisis??? didn't He... run a couple of oil companies into the ground ?/ before he became a "Professional Politician"?? He was a self admitted slacker while in college. and learned mostly how to drink and take drugs...I don't recall hearing about any PhD. in economics,,, or ANYthing else,, for that matter... he's been working the numbers, IN the WROng direction,,, for years... I e deficit spending,,, instead of making careful and justified expenditures, after seeking counsel from others who ARE knowledgeable.. He's the deciderer...... or so he claims, staunchly ignoring input from people who are educated about certain things... That is POOR leadership and it's resulted in a POOR economy and a Poor reputation for the USA, all across the globe... sad jmy

Or is Bush derangement syndrome your lifes blood? And how effective was the Bush White House in doing anything when they had control of the Senate and House? They were too busy fabricating reasons to go to war. Incidentally, you appear to be taking two opposite sides in this thread. With respect to O'Niell's statement that Bush is clueless you state "I agree with him", but then you also claim Bush saw it coming....
