Since I have his most recent book on a Kindle I can't share any examples from that. Here's a quote from one of his speeches:

The title of that article does not match the rest. He is not suggesting as you are that global warming has stopped. Even if he was, the assertion that lack of change over an 8 year period represents sound evidence that man made factors have no effect would be incorrect, primarily for no other reason then the simple fact that everything has an effect. You cannot change something (increase emissions) without an effect. The reason for the use of "might", "could", "perhaps" is because nobody knows with certainty what effect it will be, however scientific data suggests that pollution from man made sources has the potential to increase average temperature, leading to problems that humans would consider adverse. Naturally people who perceive this hypothesis as requiring them to "give up" something like their SUV tend to reject it.

No effect? Not my assertion. There is always an effect. An effect to the level the global warming proponents claim? No proof, don’t think so.

MY claim is and has been that this science is not yet settled. Not by a long shot. But those moaning of “consensus” (who for the most part have stopped using that term because it can be proven as mostly false) try to silence the “deniers” through intimidation a insult.

So,

As long as the natural cycles are ignored, studies that counter to the GWing group disparaged, computer models tweaked to get wanted results, factors as yet not understood or recognized are ignored, and those questioning GWing being labeled as deniers, all you can prove is the proponents want to change everyone else’s way of life by collecting huge taxes or implementing draconian rules. And while nearly all conclusions can be debated, these things I list are fact. What is not yet a proven fact is, man is causing the planet to heat a dangerous pace. And that is a fact.

Well, for the most part the economic differnces are small. They both want more oversite or more gov controls or more taxes. (a mix of both McCain and Obama) However either of them decides to accomplish this (taxes or other ways) will result in little difference to the final outcome
