Armour666 0 #27 September 14, 2008 We have had the same debate here in Canada to vote for the federal elections. I'm against it here in Canada because every pice of photo ID that the goverment issues has a fee atached to it or a fee to replace. I do not feel there should ever be a cost for an elegiable person to vote!!! if the goverment offerd a I.D. that had no cost to the person reciving it it might be a bit differerent. Also what happens if you lose or have the ID stolen ? then your not alowed to vote? how is that a democrated process ?SO this one time at band camp..... Now this perspective I can agree with (I have not taken a side in the thread as I have yet not formed and opinion) Fees by definition are non represented taxes IMO. Good post!
