Gotta love Glenn Beck

He is one of the few poilitical commentators I actually enjoy watching.

"Palin only supports abstinence to be taught in sex-ed!"

This claim is usually followed by a super classy comment about her daughter and the use of contraception, but the premise is false. Palin hasn't said she doesn't want condoms discussed in sex-ed, calling their discussion "relatively benign."

"I'm pro-contraception, and I think kids who may not hear about it at home should hear about it in other avenues. So I am not anti-contraception. But, yeah, abstinence is another alternative that should be discussed with kids. I don't have a problem with that," Palin said. Hers is hardly an extreme point of view in America today.

I do like that he calls himself an opinionist rather than a journalist. I rarely agree with anything he has to say, but I don't feel like I'm holding back my gag reflex like I do if I were listening to Rush or O'Reilly (or their equally obnoxious peers on the liberal side of the house).

IMO in 2006 she was asked a loaded question. Her answer was she will not support 'explicit sex education' which, according to the survey, is in line with the majority of parents. It's hardly a smoking gun. Now if the question were to have said 'comprehensive sex ed' in it's place then perhaps you would have a point. Otherwise I feel she answered the loaded question as best as anyone could.

I like the fact he allows his guests to say what they want without demeaning or denegrating them. I do think, he gets a little carried away with himself on occasion. He doesn't seem to take himself too seriously.

Glenn is the best talk show host on the radio bar none!!!!! He tells it how it is. He also checks facts verrrrrryyy well.
