I thought the skill of impromptu speaking was a necessary part of being “qualified” to be the Dem candidate for the President? Did he fool them or am I mistaken?

The next two weeks are going to be very telling. With the polling trends accelerating toward McCain/Palin, the media is going to start a leftist feeding frenzy to try and stem the tide. Going to interesting to see.

I also enjoy those that say the country is more liberal and conservative. There has been one Battle Ground poll question that has been exactly the same for the last few years. It basically asks if you consider yourself more liberal or conservative (I paraphrase badly here and I am not trying to mislead) Does anyone know the results of this question for the last few years?

This usually seems to be an issue with those that are being careful to dance both sides of issues than for those that answer questions from a position of true belief.

It was just a somewhat poorly chosen phrase to acknowledge that McCain hasn't attacked Obama based on the false rumors of Obama being a Muslim. I can't believe it was even newsworthy.

Agree totally. Obama most likely meant "my so called Muslim faith". Big DUH there.
