kallend 2,146 #1 September 6, 2008 In 2006 the Eagle Forum Alaska asked gubernatorial candidates to complete a questionnaire about their views on various issues. Palin's extreme views on abortion, gay rights, etc. were laid out in her answers and put on the forum's blog. Just last week the page disappeared! Fortunately it had already been cached by Google. Now why would the Republican Eagle Forum want to try to hide Palin's statements?... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. kallend 2,146 #3 September 6, 2008 QuoteHas her position changed relative to her responses on the questionaire? Not sure I see the conspiracy here. Why would they want to hide them? Well, in the absence of an answer from a Republican Palin supporter, I opine that her answers show her to be way out to the right of mainstream American thinking, which is not the image they are cultivating for her. I think they wanted to bury those answers. Really funny** that the eagle forum questionnaire was right there on the web for nearly 2 years, then abruptly taken down without explanation when she was picked for the VP slot. ** funny in a non humorous way.... Sarah's answers came from her heart. When she becomes VP she will whip the Republican Party into the conservative party many of us hope it to be. Her answers to those particular question were not extreme to a lot of voters. Big mistake to hide those answers MO.Do your part for global warming: ban beans and hold all popcorn farts. Does he or does he not want a constitutional amendment on abortion? Does he or does he not support ethanol? Is he or is he not against torture? Is he or is he not against state promotion of the Confederate Flag? Is he for or against campaigning at Bob Jones University? These are all issues where he has held contradictory positions. I thought it was Hillary Clinton's, but I can't remember exactly. Everybody's got something to hide about themselves. It's Michelle Obama's senior thesis, and the story is FALSE according to Snopes. Anyway, hiding their publically stated policies that affect the American people is not quite the same as a college dissertation, even if the story were true (which it isn't).
