I know...it takes forever. I think we should change our system to be more like the brits. I mean whenever you guys have an election it just shows up briefly in our evening news that you guys have a new leader....and we're like...dude....who the fuck cares.

US presidential election happens every 4 years.

Years in which the US presidential election has coincided with the summer Olympics:

1996 (Atlanta, Clinton/Dole)
1992 (Barcelona, Clinton/Bush)
