So now the real question: who cares?

Let me use an analogy we all can hopefully get. You are on final and you are gonna hit the peas. Yay you, you awesome canopy pilot. Then you see a canopy coming in off to your right. If you both keep your course, you will collide in the air. Oh, noez!

Do you (A) flip flop and do a flat turn (or take some other action to avoid crashing; or (B) stay the course and just hope neither of you gets too messed up (stick to your principles! you were gonna hit the peas!).
