akarunway 1 #1 July 28, 2008 So. What do the vets (or active) here have to say about this fuckhead. >http://www.nydailynews.com/news/us_world/2008/07/27/2008-07-27_injured_vets_tell_pull_dick_cheney_invit.htmlI hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. BIGUN 1,488 #2 July 28, 2008 The speaking time was issued, not requested. The two hour recommendation/request/requisite was so that everyone could get thru security and be in their seats and have a full audience when it was time for him to speak (as in making sure everyone got to hear what he had to say). The potties are located outside security, so if one had to potty, they had to go back thru security again. The Vice-President is Dick Cheney... I don't know Dick Cheny and he could be a dick. And, no... I'm not a fan of Mr. Cheney... but fair is fair. DAV could have worked with Mr. Cheney's office and Secret Service on a better methodology and vice versa. Both at fault and a one-sided media spin. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
labrys 0 #3 July 29, 2008 QuoteInjured vets tell pull Dick Cheney invitation over security demands My first thought was that it's a real shame if someone with an actual journalism degree wrote that completely meaningless, badly worded headline. My second thought was that anything subsequent to that headline couldn't be given any credence at all.Owned by Remi #?
