Do smokers repulse you?

I'm not perfect, and by no means do I claim I never inhaled a puff or two of sumpin' myself. Maybe it's wrong, but smokers irritate me - I can't help it. Especially when I hear them doing this husky, phleghmy "laugh", and then inevitably the laugh becomes a cough that sounds like they have TB. Frankly, I think smokers are stupid, and I find their smoking, and them when they smoke, to be repulsive. So am I alone or do they bug you too?

It's really hard for me to stay close to smokers. Yes, I do avoid them like the pest!

i used to smoke and sometimes i like it when i get a little whiff of cigarette smoke. i wish i could enjoy a cig once in a while, but i know that's just not possible without becoming addicted again. i also feel a little sympathy for smokers since i know how hard it is to quit.

I was there once. Quit in 1998. Now i can not be around smoking, I just stay up wind. It is a nasty habit..

Most heavy smokers I cannot stand to be around. The stale smell is aweful. Now here is where it gets weird. I like the smell of a good cigar. I love to smoke cigars. I smoke about 3-4 a week most of the time. I dont inhale them but the aroma and the taste on most cigars is very pleasant.

Good thing is over here, because of the indoor smoking ban at public places, you can normally identify the smokers as they are wet from the rain and their hair is all over the place from the wind. Its an attractive look... not.

Like fat people, there are gradations. 2 pack a day smokers aren't the same as those who smoke 3-5 a day.

I made a mission of a light smoker earlier in the year and found her perfectly kissable, though I didn't try immediately after a cigarette.

To me there is nothing more offputting than an attractive man or even a woman lighting up a cigarette. All I can think of is how bad their breath/hands/clothes will smell after and how attractive they will look in 20 years toting around their oxygen tanks.

I've managed to cut down to a half a pack a day but that's where I'm stalling. Every time I try to quit I feel like I'm going to strangle someone. What I need is a couple months in the mountains by myself to deal with it without causing any harm to others.
