lawrocket 3 #1 July 12, 2008 Died of cancer at age 53. HE made a pretty good press secretary. Not the best, but a pretty good one. He was more influential in his career as a political commentator. This is a guy who called out Bush and his Administration as going weak on conservative ideals - THEN was appointed press secretary. I suspect he'll get nowhere NEAR the coverage that Russert got. Actually, I HOPE he doesn't. My wife is hotter than your wife.
Para_Frog 1 #2 July 12, 2008 Politics aside, he seemed much more genuine on a personal level than his predecessors. Bummer.- Harvey, BASE 1232 TAN-I, IAD-I, S&TA BLiNC Magazine Team Member

BillyVance 35 #4 July 12, 2008 I thought he was as entertaining to watch as any of the others in recent memory. A good guy."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
TheAnvil 0 #5 July 13, 2008 He seemed to be a very genuine guy. I liked listening to him @ FoxNews and as Press Secretary. Saw last night that he had his own band. He's going to be missed.Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
tbrown 26 #6 July 14, 2008 Sorry to hear this news. I can't say I liked the guy, or his combative style in the Bush White House. But he was only a year older than me and I know from losing a brother to cancer how hard it is. NPR did a very nice piece on him yesterday morning - including some tapes of him jamming to the blues on his flute. (He was also a NPR commentator in the early nineties and NPR replayed one of more scathing commentaries about the Clinton White House resembling a college campus during finals week.) By all accounts he was a man who loved life. RIP Mr. Snow and may God bless and send his peace on your family. Your humble servant.....Professor Gravity !
