I used to have one of those, and yes it used clips. I don't remember how much ammo it held, but it was a short straight clip.

My Mosin Nagant's also utilize stripper clips, but niether of those are semi-auto. Come to think of it those are the only clip fed firearms I have. 30+ round mags in everything else.

Nope, my AR-15 uses a MAGAZINE!

That is one of my all time pet peeves. That's up there with people on TV and movies holding their weapon pointed up instead of something like the Sul Position.

Which ever. It shows a lack of tactical ability. Now I'm not a whiz-bang tactical ninja like some of the guys on the boards here, but I know that its easy to get stuffed and not be able to get your weapon on target like that.

Besides, if you AD then you'll be near deaf in one ear. If you're a lefty then you'll get hit in the face by the hot casing too!

My SKS`s All can use Clips to reload the Magazines. This can be done without removing the magazine from the Rifle.

The Bolt Carrier is machined so that when the magazine is empty, It stays open, Drop a Clip in, Push and the Magazine is reloaded. Each Clip Holds 10 Rounds, The Magazine I have on the rifles all take 30 Rounds. You may use 3 Stripper clips to fully reload but that last one is a Royal Bitch to get in.

The Chinese Ammo I buy (1440 Rounds per Tin) does NOT come on Clips. The Russian and German Ammo I have bought at other times does come on Clips.

And Yes, It is a Semi Auto Rifle, Although with the Hell-Fire mod and someone that knows how to use it (Definitely takes practice).. It pretty damn close to Full Auto.

I'm curious, as well - the only pistol I can recall that uses clips is one of the OLD German ones... don't recall the exact model, though.

Actually, I think I'm going to buy a DPMS next week. I like them, although I will most likely be replacing the trigger. Then I'll need to get a quad rail, vertical fore stock, EoTech 552, been thinking about that MagPul stock, BUIS...well, that will have to wait, got to get the rifle first.

I'm not allowed to make any changes to the Colt M4 I have, but I can buy my own and do what I want, so there we go. I HATE the Trijican Reflex that is on the rifle and I really wish it had a vertical fore stock.

I'd be a lot more tempted to get one of the variants that use an op-rod rather than shitting where it eats, so to speak. Preferably in a larger calibre as well.
