crwtom 0 #1 June 30, 2008 What is remarkable about the latest LA Times/Bloomberg Poll not so much that GWB has what seems to be another record 23% approval and 73% disapproval rating, but that it is not much more than a footnote in the article. What is worse than ending you presidency with 20% approval? Ending it with 20% approval and nobody give a crap about it anymore! mnealtx 0 #2 July 1, 2008 Congress' recent 12% approval rating didn't get any traction in the news, either... I just *can't* imagine why... Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. POPS 9708 , SCR 14706

Interestingly, the democrats (who now hold a majority in both houses) have an approval rating of 51%; republicans are running around 29%.

Cheers, T Hmm, I believe the current form of the filibuster came from rules created when Democrates controled the Senate. When the Rep threatened to change the rules when they had control the media and Dems went balistic Hey!
