What is remarkable about the latest LA Times/Bloomberg Poll not so much that GWB has what seems to be another record 23% approval and 73% disapproval rating, but that it is not much more than a footnote in the article.

What is worse than ending you presidency with 20% approval? Ending it with 20% approval and nobody give a crap about it anymore!

I'd imagine all the obstructionism. Interestingly, the democrats (who now hold a majority in both houses) have an approval rating of 51%; republicans are running around 29%.

That's odd - their rating was 20% in November 07, when the Dems took over... must suck to be them, losing 40% of their starting approval rating that fast.

who are "they"? - the ones who set the an all time filibuster record in 2007 or the guy who used his veto only once in the first 6 years of his presidency and then 9 times since 2007.

Hmm, I believe the current form of the filibuster came from rules created when Democrates controled the Senate. When the Rep threatened to change the rules when they had control the media and Dems went balistic
