China Admits Taking, Burying US POW from Korea

Recommended Posts

I didn't look up what official estimates of MIA/POWs from the Korean War. Officially, China has returned all POWs.
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

Is that "officially" according to the Chinese, or "officially" according to the Pentagon, or both?

If you read the article, you would've seen "...the Pentagon's stance today is that China returned all the U.S. POWs it held."

So the DoD has been lying since 2003 when it was notified of this case.:o

A large part (but not all agencies) of the federal government have been lying about the matter of POW/MIA since at least WWII, not just this Korean War...ooops, Conflict/Police Action.

Think back about the POW/MIA hearings in Congress in which John Kerry played such a large role...more lying about this issue.

Truman failed to pursue the matter after WWII, Eisenhower failed to adequately pursue it after the Korean War, and Nixon did the same after Vietnam.

It was politically expedient to bury the entire matter. Sorry 'bout that, GI.

Send in Chuck Norris. Quickly, before he gets as old (or as old looking) as Hulk Hogan. I don't think anyone is scared of Hogan anymore, but they would probably still quake in their boots at the sight of Norris.

Oh, well, others did it first, so that makes it OK then:|

Just the opposite. Virtually everyone in the government has lied about this issue going back to WWII and coming up to the present time.

It is NOT okay that this has been going on for more than 60 years.

You seem to be unable to grasp the fact that it has been done by virtually everyone - Dems and Republicans alike and most people in this country don't seem to give a damn.

Apparently you missed the :| (= "unimpressed").

Maybe you can tell mnealtx that "xxxx did it first" is not an excuse for bad behavior.

And perhaps someone can tell YOU that "xxx does it more" isn't an excuse, either.

BUT you screamed bloody murder when xxx did it first.... while you are silent when xxx does it more.. well except for defending xxx with the last breath you might have in your body

*yawn*

Just because *I* don't have a raging case of BDS doesn't mean I support him, Jeanne...something that can't be said of your unwavering support of the Dems.

IIRC correctly, wasn't Bush already President in 2004? Makes it sort of hard for me to "scream bloody murder when xxx did it first", doesn't it?

Or is this more of your mindreading, like how you know who I voted for?

DUDE.. you did NOT just claim to never bring up Clinton did you????

I claimed to not have screamed about it when it happened on here - perhaps you should have paid attention to the tense you used.

That is like totally whacked... every little thing you can.. you try to pin on Clinton... to justify something your Imperious Leader has done.

Speaking of supporting an "Imperious Leader" - thanks for the (further) proof of the "Dems can do no wrong" defense...not to mention proving out GQ's assertion in the other thread.

You, kallend and billvon and quade could start the "But the Reps/Bush/Conservatives did it *LAST*" barbershop quartet.
