TrophyHusband 0 #1 June 7, 2008 i used to work with someone who was very racist. he wanted to kill all minorities, gays, jews, muslims, and everyone else who wasn't a southern white redneck. this guy was filled with so much hate that i often wondered what would happen and he woke up one morning and his personal utopia had been realized. would he then get more and more picky about who he wanted eradicated? hate like that doesn't just disappear. there is a lot of deep hatred toward bush and the administration, so next year when he is no longer president, where will the hate go? Samurai136 0 #2 June 7, 2008 France... the hate will go to France... or it may go on vacation to Tijuana or Cabo San Lucas. "Buttons aren't toys." - Trillian Ken
Lindsey 0 #3 June 7, 2008 That amount of hatred will be easy to absorb. There are plenty of women, men, doctors, lawyers, CEOs who earn more than they deserve. There are homeless people to hate and those who are sympathetic with their plight. There are drug addicts, deadbeat moms and dads. There are gold diggers, and there are people on food stamps. There are people born into money who never earned a dime but have it made. There are skygods and swoopers. There is an endless list of people who can absorb that hatred. Anyone outside your own windshield is usually fair game.-- A conservative is just a liberal who's been mugged. A liberal is just a conservative who's been to jail
lawrocket 3 #4 June 7, 2008 It'll go the same place it went with the Clinton Administration - right to a talking point for a whole generation. Clinton is still despised by many, just as he is still adored by many. Check out Reagan. He's dead. Back in January, Hillary tiraded against Obama for actually saying something good about Reagan. The hate remains. It will remain. My wife is hotter than your wife.

Since we know ignorance can affect us all, then we must accept that discrimination and hate can affect us as well. There is such a thing as feeding these emotions. We know that emotions are the expression of thoughts in the mind, so, the question is, what is feeding these thoughts? I believe it is influence and inspiration and that we can all be used. If that is the case, then the hatred will live wherever it is fed. Soon man may realize that there is something greater than us. I believe there is a balance within our existance, that we have the knowledge of good and evil, some desire the knowledge of one over the other, but the desire is the greatest question. I dont believe that a mans desire dies after death. I believe it goes where it desires to go and where it desired to be while it was in the host of the mind. Our mind dies, our body dies, but our spirit can inspire long after death through those still living who are keeping it alive. But thats just what I believe."We didn't start the fire"
 SkydiveJack 1 #10 June 8, 2008 Unfortunately, the hate will just go on from one thing or person to another. Wow, that’s a depressing statement from someone like me. But that was my initial reaction so I will leave it as it is. Deeply rooted, race based hatred and anger at someone's actions is not a particularly good comparison in my opinion. You may as well be comparing marital love with pedophilia. But to get to your question, I don't "hate" Bush. I don't wish him physical harm. I hate what his administration has done to our country and I will be greatly relieved when they're gone. I will continue to be irritated at them afterwards because they get to retire on our dime as we also pay to try to clean up their mess. But that irritation will probably be to a lesser degree than the ire that I feel towards the guy driving in the left lane at exactly the same speed as the guy on the right who is doing 53mph. I hate those guys.
