crashtested 0 #1 June 6, 2008 Nw this i thought was quite funny, correct me if i'm wrong, but the americans celebrate independance day on the day it went to the printers. Not the day it was written and dated?? It was declared 2 days earlier but the printers were not open!! Is this true or am i having my leg pulled?? irisheyes 0 #2 June 6, 2008 You're having your leg pulled (sort of). It was voted on 2 July. But, it was not signed for the first time until 4 July (and then only by one person John Hancock). The rest of the congressional delegates did not sign it until 2 August.
lawrocket 3 #3 June 6, 2008 You are correct to a point. Jefferson himself always thought July 2 would be the day. It was declared on July 2. But not signed until July 4. My wife is hotter than your wife.
