ChasingBlueSky 0 #1 May 19, 2008 I was half expecting to hear "I voted for the tax cuts before I voted against them." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEtZlR3zp4c Time for those GOP folks to pull out their Kerry flip-flop sandals and place McCain's name all over them. Nice to see that the Rove talking points, damn the lies, style is still a stronghold with the GOP. They are hoping on the short term memory of the American public to win the election for them. From day to day the platform will change depending on the audience. Then they will toss out words like "appeasement" and hope no one goes and looks up the definition. I must say I am saddened by this. A few years back McCain was someone I would have voted for. When he went against GW he was against that machine and that style of politics....even a victim of it (re: black child out of wedlock). I can't believe he is allowing this to happen._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again..... idrankwhat 0 #2 May 19, 2008 I was looking for the right thread to post that link to, but you beat me to it. Amazing stuff isn't it? What a difference 8 years makes. Bush's third term indeed.
kallend 2,150 #3 May 21, 2008 which is worse: a flip-flopper, or someone like GWB who stubbornly sticks to failed policies?... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
