Obama facing strong racism

Recommended Posts

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1318534/obama_faces_racism_in_west_virginia/

Both Obama AND Clinton appear to have have faced racism. Clinton has openly fomented it as a campaign strategy. Obama has taken 90% of the black vote, right? Think that there is no racism behind that?

By the way - notice that those people on that video are Hillary Clinton's TARGET CONSTITUENCY - the white uneducated.

McCain - he's just sat back and let it happen. We'll see what happens in the general election campaign.

But it's unequal. Whites represent a majority of voters, women represent a tiny majority of voters. Blacks are ... 8%? of population and a bit smaller perfecentage of voters.

Since Obama is the most racist canidate to run for office since Strom Thurman, well, why not? Being a black racist gives you a pass?

Support that statement with evidence directly related to writings or audio/video recorded statements from Obama himself. I'm not in one camp or the other yet, but that is an incredibly inflammatory claim.

Hmmm...I'm not sure about that. He's got a lot of racists supporting him, and there are quite a few racists who will vote for him just because of his race, but I don't think he's any more of a racist than Sen. Kerry or Sen Clinton. From what I've seen - and I've been abroad for a bit - he hasn't used the race card very much, if at all.

Maybe not in this race, but he used his race to get where he's at. His church affiliation was about getting in good with the neighborhood. Either that, or he actually agreed with what was coming from the pulpit, which, as far as I'm concerned stunk of racism.

It is not just one thing. Add together the chuch teachings he listens to for 20 years, the comments about clinging to guns and religion, what his wife has said publicly and a picture starts to become visible

It would be one thing if these people could articulate a logical reason and coherently defend it...

Good point.

Why did that one woman believe that Obama is a Muslim? Didn't that one Protestant preacher (Rev Wright) get enough attention???

or that he's not from America? You can't just be an American citizen to be eligible, you have to have been BORN an American citizen, that's already in the rules.

I think you should have to be at least as smart as a rat to vote.

The poll booths should be put at the end of a giant rat maze. If you're too dumb to find them, you're too dumb to vote.

How about if you only get your "economic stimulus" check when you show up to vote.

This quote does not exist in either of Obama's books.

One thing valuable in all these anti-Obama posts; it sure makes it a lot easier to decide my vote. If people hate Obama this much, they have something to fear. If people like Rush are afraid of Obama, Obama must be substantive and a valid opportunity to change status quo.

How come you consider any discussion of Obama "anti-"Obama"? The comments above I have not idea about but the rest of what he IS saying supports my position that he would be a president that would take more money from the working to run gov programs.

PS
I really do not like McCain any better.........

I don't consider "any discussion about Obama as being anti-Obama" but you did declare him to be " the most racist canidate to run for office since Strom Thurman." Then there are the false quotes that are referred to frequently.

Perhaps that's not considered "anti-Obama" in some circles?:S

You show one instance of false quotes and then make a broad generalization. And I stand by my statement because in my opinion he is. I base that on what he has said publicly, what his wife has said puplicly and what his preacher has preached.

We can talk to specifics and agree or disagree on those very specifics. Generalizations have no value IMO.

I trust that I'm not the only one that sees media bias in this video? Having lived in West Virginia most of my life, I've seen my share of slanted hillbilly videos and news stories.

As I sit here next to the NASA building working as a mechanical engineer, I can only hope that some misguided news reporter will eventually stumble upon MY little section of West Virginia for a non-redneck perspective.

Then do you classify McCain in there due to the preachers he has shook hands with on a political stage recently? Obama has distanced himself from his former paster and the words he said.

If you dismiss McCain's connection to them, then you need to drop the connection of Obama to his former pastor.

Ah the bait and switch. I am speaking of Obama. You want to speak about McCain start a new thread.

I dont like McCain but that is not the point here. He is an idiot and is not much different than Obama or Clinton as far as I am concerned. The libs got a win win election year going on here

Obama only distanced hjimself because he had to for polictial reason long after the shit hit the fan.

Obama is a eletists racist. He has proven that to me. Period
