"Family Values", GOP style

Recommended Posts

Is that really the New York Times? One paragraph about an affair, and the rest is all about the accomplishments and the bright future...of a Republican no less. NY certainly is keeping the political news...Gov. Spitzer, Gov. Paterson, now Rep. Fossella...

Well, he has the precedent of Sen. Craig to stay in his seat. :S

How Rep. Fossella's fellow Congressmen officially respond will be the acid test I think. No one lined up behind Sen. Craig to stay in. I don't think you'll see anything different here either.

So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!

I suppose if you are keeping two separate families, it does count as "family values" in some perverted way.

Probably more so than having a gay escort service running out of your DC townhouse, eh?

So just how DID Mr Guckert get White House credentials??? I mean SOMEONE must have vetted Jeff Gannon... when they needed a schill in the audience.. who knew and when did they know it..that he was a gay escort:S:S:S

"Jeff Gannon" is the pseudonym used by James Dale Guckert, unmasked in February 2005 by John Aravosis's AMERICAblog.org Blogspot and Media Matters for America, a liberal watchdog group based in Washington, DC, to be a fake White House "correspondent" working for the pseudo news organization Talon News, which is closely tied to GOPUSA, a right-wing site owned by a Texas-based Republican activist.

Gannon had access to the White House and was admitted to the White House press briefing room on day press passes for almost two years. He was recognized for editorializing before asking "softball" questions of the White House press staff and, even on occasion, of President George W. Bush, to break up lines of aggressive questioning by legitimate reporters, thereby assisting the staff in controlling press conferences.

I once had a gay escort service running out of my DC townhome.

Oh, wait a minute; it was a flat in an Uptown brownstone, . . . and it was dog walking instead of gay escorts.

Pretty close though, heh?
