Depends on the info. If it's the number of Hummers sold to Taiwan in 2006, it's probably too draconian. If it's the STALO frequencies of the ECCM system in the B-2, then it's probably too lenient.

Have to disagree there. Any amount of information tips a hand at capability. Something as simple as the number of HMMWVs can provide insight to mobility of troops. Their configuration further provides the types of men and materiel that can be moved.

This is especially important in the sense of Taiwan, as we have a strategic relationship with them, and China would have no compunction to exploit every avenue possible to regain control.
