That would mean that every non-incarcerated citizen of any nation in the world is exactly as free as every non-incarcerated citizen of every other nation in the world. Only the incarcerated are less than completely free. Therefore, the only measure of a country's level of 'freedom' would be the ratio of incarcerated to non-incarcerated citizens. Which was exactly what you disagreed with in your first post. Hmmm.Do you want to have an ideagasm?
DARK 0 #52 March 29, 2008 i think the ony thing we can learn from this is that EVERYONE loves ireland and in particular dublin which is great as that is were i am from and it does rock. of course im sure alot of people will dismiss our place on the list(or was it 3 lists each putting ireland in the top ten) as unfounded as we have the same population as manhatten but who said bigger is better? unfortunately our housing bubble is about to burst and the economic growth of the 90's is slowing down a good bit(not helped by pre recession america to be honest :p) so we might lose a few laces in the next few years but if i can jump in the states every summer and come home to my free education and health service and shitty weather every winter i will not be comlaining
