Amazon 7 #2 March 26, 2008 Kewl... I think GW needs to speed up.. since I live a couple hundred ft above sea level.. I should have some sweet waterfront property in the expanded Puget Sound if the ocean level rises to its maximum of 75 meters that it has in other interstade periods. shropshire 0 #3 March 26, 2008 Them Ice Shelves... the wife nags you for months to put them up (so that she can put more bloody scented candles on them) and they just end up collapsing... quade 4 #4 March 26, 2008 There is a theory that the Earth is itself can be thought of as a living organism. That it regulates itself in strange and mysterious ways. Maybe Global Climate Change and the rising of sea level is the Earth's way of dealing with the 27th state. quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

pirana 0 #12 March 27, 2008 Had the wrong state. Larsen B was the size of Rhode Island. There is mention on wiki of Larsen C (the size of New Hampshire & Vermont combined) probably going in the next decade." . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley

I'll be ok and my property value will probably increase with a 10-15 ft. increase in sea level.Unfortunately, my DZ will be gone
