Lastchance 0 #7 March 22, 2008 I didn't mean to call Americans stupid. Not at all. Hell, I'm Red, White, and Blue. I wouldn't want to live anyplace else. I'm not sure what people were thinking. I know that I for one did NOT vote for him in either election. I seen right through his lies and bullshit from the start. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands. I think it says more about the American electorate and who the majority of those who vote (which was what percent of the voting eligible populace?) wanted to represent them. ------ ------ While it is sometimes hard to stifle a chuckle at President Bush's malapropisms because they are sometimes very funny, I don’t find games/jokes/whatever that mock/malign/ridicule the President to be useful. He was elected the by those Americans who exercised their right to vote, therefore ultimately we are mocking/maligning/ridiculing our own system and ourselves. (NB: please don't interpret that as in anyway asserting that policies should not be challenged/able.) TankBuster 0 #13 March 23, 2008 Nerdgirl is right on. Disagree with policy all you want, but I think it's a little juvenile to call the president a moron. He's worth quite a bit of humor at times, but he's no moron. And the other thing I don't get is how all of the frustration and anger and insecurity gets targeted at one person. He gets blamed for everything from the economy to Katrina. A lot of conservatives did that to Slick Willie. To me, that's moronic. The forecast is mostly sunny with occasional beer. Lindsey 0 #14 March 23, 2008 but he's no moron. Would a dolt or a boob be more accurate????-- A conservative is just a liberal who's been mugged. A liberal is just a conservative who's been to jail

I'm sure glad he told us that he is "on top" of the economic situation we find ourselves in. That gives me great comfort.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. Lastchance 0 #16 March 24, 2008 I'm sorry but I don't chuckle at Bush at all. I don't find him in the least bit humorous. He may not be a moron, but it seems to me that he engages his mouth before he engages his brain more often than not. That to me coming from the Commander in Chief is not funny in the least. To me that is scary. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.

I don't trust McCain, in fact I just watched his economy press conference and could help but laugh when his infamous 'time for some straight talk' speal came out. Only one of the 'top 3' that seems to attempt to be open is Obama, at least he admitted drug abuse etc in his books. I don't trust any politician that says they didn't inhale I'm sorry.
