A revelation

Recommended Posts

I had a revelation here a few minutes ago -

I'm the primary moderator on this forum, and I post my opinions here pretty frequently. That means that everyone who voluntarily visits this forum agrees with and supports my opinions! If they did not, they would (of course) leave.

Cool.

I dunno bill, I could swear that one or two people may have already denounced you even if they do continue to show up occasionally.

Denounced. (or cursed him) LOL. :)

I feel it, when I sorrow most;

Than never to have loved at all.

Hmmm.

American Heritage Dictionary

pri·mar·y (prī'měr'ē, -mə-rē) Pronunciation Key
adj.
First or highest in rank, quality, or importance; principal.

I received an email a few months ago that suggested the forum name be changed from 'Speakers Corner' to the 'Bill von Novak Aggrandizement Forum'.

Sounds like a good idea!

You are right, all the people who do not agree with you should stay away, and form another website.

One that is more fair and even, does not possess people who are in protected classes, and can actually voice their own opinions and or concerns without being denounced by you and other mods, as being uneducated or unintelligent.

For once you are right.

I find it astounding how many people are willing to whine about what they see as heavy-handed moderation in a frickin' skydiving forum. If it were my forum, I'd moderate for grammar :P.

Boy, that'd sure piss people off

Absolutely fascinating how many people didn't get this joke. Wow.

Isn't Speakers Corners the place where the only thing we as a group can agree on, is that we disagree with each other? My mother was right, I would have been more successful competing in the Special Olympics than I am to be spending too much time here.

The blithe writing of a sentence like that is an abomination up with which I, as a moderator, shall not put.

Yet another Apocalyptic thread?

Or apoplectic, depending on how much the moderators have disciplined you, I suppose.
