The USA economy

Last I heard Guatemala and Honduras were American - Not USA granted but America is a big continent >:(

America is not a continent. It is a nation. North America is a continent, and is considered to include the countries of Central America. If you're going to be pedantic, at least be accurate about it.

Then explain why americanos refers to people from the US, and never from Mexico. (Hint, la gente de los estados unidos is a bit of a mouthful)

>>More smoke and mirrors. The house of cards will soon fall. Better take your money and run.

Woah... easy with the gloom and doom man. :| We just got away from a rotten week of negative news and every little rally counts. True that you should sell into the rallies but unless you've got a cache of fresh water, food, antibiotics and guns-:) its best not to hope for a multi tiered economic crash.

You are correct. That's called "The spoils of socialism."

That must be a true statement, because the Bush family is well know for being dyed in the wool socialists. :S

Oh, of course - Al "no controlling legal authority" Gore and Hillary "Hsu who?" Clinton have NOTHING at all to do with those folks...

Not a defense, Professor - merely showing, as usual, that the Dem's aren't the lily-white defenders of all that's good that some like to portray them as.

oh thanks for your support-

Luck has nothing to do with it, the health of the economy in a free market society is mostly affected by psychology, in this case fear- and those that spread fear. I get what you are doing- you're not happy with our current socioeconomic system so you cultivate the idea that it is going to collapse and the more people that talk like that the more real that possibility becomes.

So chairman Mao,how shall we proceed & what is your proposal?

Let it fall to pieces..I have the iomportant stuff taken care of.... I would not LIKE to lose all I have invested...but I have ALSO invested heavily for those future scenarios too;)

"fresh water, food, antibiotics and guns." >You forgot lead (CHECK) and brass(CHECK A few;)labeled National Match), a handloader(CHECK) and a good hunting dog(CHECK x3). ( and do not forget enough of the right smnokeless powders to use in the reloading process).. and a FEW rounds of the cheap shit for those weapons that primarily use Berdan primed ammunition in prodigious amounts:P

Not that I need a dog to hunt the overabundance of deer near my home....and poachers are inconsequential.. its too thick for most of the numbnuts that call themselves hunters around here to thin out the population at all anyway.

Commenting on current events IS rather more relevant than your CDIF CDIF CDIF CDIF excuses.

Making every thread a Bush-bash isn't relevant, however.

BTW, please show where I've "excused" anything, thanks.

Yes it is.. since he is and has performed in such an incompetent manner as a WAR president.... and yall just cant bring yourselves to agree with just how bad he has been for this country.??

What was the price of a barrel of oil when he entered office....??

What is it now....??

What business are he and most of his neo-con appointees in???

What did he say about nation building when he was fooling all the right wing rubes into voting for him???

Which excuses did he use to take us into Iraq.. and why???( how many excuses were used to supercede the original excuses when the first ones did not pan out?

How many general officers warned him of the consequences of his actions.. and he disregarded those and went with more pliable opinions( called YES MEN) of other general officers after he forced the unpliable ones(NOT yes men)to retire??

Did the misgivings of the NOT YES MEN come true???

Did your former fratboy cheerleading partyboy do alcohol and drugs and get DUI"S???

SOOOO much food for thought for those who will actually use the big brain and think>:(
