TheAnvil 0 #1 March 8, 2008 Clicky This is tacit approval of violating acquisition law on the part of these buffoons. Sweet Jesus. Do these people WONDER why they've no credibility with most people of any intellect availing themselves of its use? When these idiots criticizing McCain's role in the Boeing imbroglio speak of respect for the law and on any budget issues, it's going to be hard NOT to think 'fucking idiot with no credibility' every single time. Sheesh. Fuck-tards! Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!

That time being where (both sides) start throwing shit at each other and then pounce on anything that sticksGonna be a long year"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Gawain 0 #3 March 8, 2008 He's an easy target, since he's the ranking member on the Senate Armed Services Committee. Everyone is clamoring and Congress still needs to review the deal. As for the old deal, he was right to break it.So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! likearock 2 #4 March 8, 2008 Dumb, no. Unfair, yes. We should be shopping around for the best price when it comes to big ticket defense contracts. But it's a very effective attack, especially when the US is posting ever grimmer job numbers. It will be interesting to see if McCain can stick to his guns. The attack is nearly as silly as the attacks on Obama on account of his middle name, or on Hillary because Bill got a BJ in the Oval Office.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
TheAnvil 0 #6 March 8, 2008 If a contract has been awarded by the Source Selection Authority then the shopping around has already been done. The lowest bidder does not always win the contract - many times it's KTR that would provide the best value to the government. The attack is goat-fuck stupid. And yet, those kinds of protectionist attacks are very effective politically. Look what happened to Obama in Ohio after the NAFTA dustup. In case it's not clear, I agree that it's a bogus attack. I just wouldn't call something stupid when it can score some serious points .
