Bush Tax breaks for the "rich"

Oh very funny. How many criminals report thefts of their illegal guns? Enquiring minds want to know.

Well, you seem to think that the same criminals are going into gunshops and passing the Brady checks to purchase guns (your incessant drone of "lax gun laws"), so who am I to argue with such a learned individual?

Perhaps the next time you're asked that type of question, you'll simply be honest and admit you don't have the information instead of trying to twist the post around to set up one of your favored quasi-strawmen arguments.

I'm not the one whining about the IRS. All the whining about the unfairness of the tax system is coming from you and your buddies. (Whine) why should I support people who REFUSE to work (whine) ...welfare queens (whine) the government is robbing me of my money (whine) income tax is unconstitutional (whine) it's my capital at risk... etc etc.

You were the one that asked me where my info about welfare cheaters came from... whine to the IRS that they don't give that info.

Does that make it clear enough for you?

What does the IRS have to do with welfare cheaters? You are becoming confused.

PS I can't seem to find where you posted any actual data about welfare cheaters (as opposed to anecdotes). Please will you provide the link.

Yes, I am, sorry - first you whined about the source of the info about who pays what in regards to taxes - when I originally posted it a while or so back I clearly stated that the info was from the IRS.

Again, professor? Haven't I answered this about 4 times for you?

If you're trying to allude that my experience in regards to living among and talking to those who were knowingly cheating the welfare system is invalid, then so is YOUR anecdotal experience of how "safe" Chicago's streets are.

If you want to find out how many people are cheating the welfare system, perhaps you should start your search where the money is disbursed from and see if they have the information - seeing as I already know that it happens, I'm disinterested in doing your homework for you.

Ummm - it's YOU that keeps making claims about welfare cheats. So provide a cite from a reputable source to back it up. Not my homework to verify your claims.

My reputable source is my personal experience that it DOES happen - are you suggesting that I am a liar, Professor?

The plural of anecdote is NOT data.

How many are there? How much is it costing the taxpayers?

I'm sure that you can petition HUD and the IRS to give that data.

I assumed you cared, since you have ranted about it so often. When it comes down to it, you really DON'T care. Cool:)

Incorrect, good sir - I *do* care, I just realize that as long as we have professional politicians, there is too much political hay to be made by pandering to the welfare subset for it to ever be fixed.

I'm sure you recall the multitude of times I have posted Heinlein's quote about "Bread and Circuses".

If you care why aren't you interested in the data? Scared it might disprove your prejudices?

Evidence != prejudice, Professor. In point of fact, I have written my representative about this several times. Of course, given that it (until recently) was Chuck Gonzales, they most likely went straight to the round file.
