beowulf 1 #6 February 15, 2008 I disagree with your whole post. I think the clerk was right to defend himself even if no shot was fired by the robber. The possibility of the robber's gun being fake should not even be considered. I think any armed robber should be treated just like that one was, whether or not they arm themselves with a real or fake gun. If someone threatens me with my life the first chance I get I will respond with lethal force. No one has the right to threaten my life with out consequences.
