My comp doesn't have sound right now, but I'm guessing with the AK-47, the squatty position, an the ammo belt wrapped around their shoulders, that, um, they wern't US soldiers...


So what's the story again? Were they militants, or just dumb kids tryin got dig up a shell?

I thought due to the camera possibly belonging to a US spy plane or something, we'd sent a bomb down to those guys... But what do I know, I can't make out the words...

WOW. Sad and shocking recoding.

Per the audio these were militia volunteers. (Athough the audio keeps mentioning 4 persons, there was actually a fifth walking up to the site that I believe had to have been killed too) Final audio states 2 KIA and 3 survived? Hard to believe that.

I wonder if they are encouraged or discouraged to mess with unexploded ordnance?!

Yeah, I actually got that part...

I was confused though about whether they were good guys or bad guys because those looked like military hummers parked nearby.
