Four U.S. Soldiers Rape and Kill a 14 Years Old Girl

Recommended Posts

Quote

Rape
No offense is as damaging to the victim as rape. Murder does not come close, since the victim is dead and knows nothing. A raped soldier will have psychological scars for the rest of his or her life. A male soldier who is the victim of a homosexual rape is especially damaged, and many commit suicide rather than live with this burden immediate wall-to-wall counseling is required, and it must be so severe that bones are broken. Dimension lumber must be used during this session, and the minimum length of the session is three hours. If any part of the rapist's body has not been hit with the board, the session is not complete. At least one arm and one leg will be broken during the session and the testicles will be hit at least ten times.

Not exactly Texas-Stile justice.

Only one soldier was given the option of testifying against the others, and he got 90 years, parole eligible in 20. You don't do that unless the others are more culpable and will get harsher sentences. Stuff like this happens in our justice system every day, whether or not iraqi's are involved.

Oh, so close. If you'd only gotten to the third sentence in the article, and put an ounce of thought into it, you might have seen that your point about a double standard in this case was weak.

I placed no emphasis on any kind of value judgement made by the OP, my statement was simply on the nose in the air attitude I have found from many europeans about the death penalty, they abhor it and think we are savages to still use it. but their attitude changes when asked what the penalty for a rape/murder that is commited on thier sister or mother.

Do you deny that in, say, Texas, a premeditated rape-murderer would likely be sentenced to death?
***
Personally I believe in a life for a life. If you choose to wantonly kill, your life is then forfeit - and I would expand the death penalty to include violent rape, and rape or molestation of a child if I had the power to do so, no matter what the nationality of the victim.

but guess what?...... it aint my call. :(

What nonsense. If they felt that way they'd elect goverments that reimposed capital punishment.

The comment was clearly about the DOUBLE STANDARD on account of the nationality of the victim, not about the ethics of capital punishment.

maybe you should mention to them that they have this right? maybe - just maybe the bleeding heart pussies outnumber the ones with common sense.

I have had many arguments/discussions about the morality of the death penalty.

The barbarians who perpetrated that atrocity are a small, if not minute cross section of our military. Contrary to the beliefs of a miss-guided minority in our country. The animals that strap explosives to mentally handicapped civilians are a majority of the people that we are fighting. Differences? Hell yeah.

don't dishonor our people in the armed forces by lumping these vermin amongst them.

dont create artificial categories that do not exist.

"People in the Armed Forces" are those who have taken the oath of service.

Good and Bad exists in every profession and practice.. Whenever there is a desire for increased quantity, quality suffers. The stress and environment of war only allows more opportunity for the worst (and the best) to come out in any individual. The actions of a few of the worst, does not represent the Service as a whole.

The "vermin" lumped themselves among the people in the armed services, met all the applicable standards for being admitted, and were welcomed into the service.

If the services are scraping the barrel to meet enlistment quotas, that's what will happen.

If i think someone deserves death i will be the one delivering it right away and i will face the consecuences. I will not advocate an state sponsored murder that will deliver justice 20 years down the road and is quite likely to execute the wrong person for the wrong reasons. But it is just me and many of the european bleeding heart pussies.
In case you didn´t get it before, the debate is not wether someone deserves the capital punishment or not, the debate is if we want to support a system that doesn´t have a 0% chance to always execute the right person. Obviously the "compasionate conservatives" do not care much about executing an inocent person by mistake.

Just to stay on topic, do you think that a fit punishment for those rapist (the U.S soldiers) would be a couple of minutes sitting in "Old Sparky"?

the following is cut and pasted from another post I made in this thread.

there should only be one punishment for rape and murder - anything less is not justice.

Its a response thread to JR's thread on the Pet market suicide bombing. I think the point is that
A) Both sides commit atrocities.
B) The poll options are not even worth responding to.

Only one side makes these atrocities their method of conducting warfare.

The president of the USA made a signing statement pretty much exempting his administration from the anti-torture act.

Bush Could Bypass New Torture Ban
By Charlie Savage
The Boston Globe

Wednesday 04 January 2005

Waiver right is reserved.
Washington - When President Bush last week signed the bill outlawing the torture of detainees, he quietly reserved the right to bypass the law under his powers as commander in chief.

After approving the bill last Friday, Bush issued a "signing statement" - an official document in which a president lays out his interpretation of a new law - declaring that he will view the interrogation limits in the context of his broader powers to protect national security. This means Bush believes he can waive the restrictions, the White House and legal specialists said.

So it seems that atrocities ARE official US policy under this administration.

Lmao. You, the advocate of "running fast" when shit happens (case in point your stance about gun ownership), is the one who wants to take care of the execution.

You are on a roll today. Thanks for the laughs..

It just shows that there is evil scum in both sides.

Yes it does.

However, that's where the similarity ends. Otherwise, you are comparing vastly different events. One is endorsed and sanctioned by the populous from which it originates, the other is condemned by the populous from which it originates. I'll leave it to you to figure out which is which.

Overall, your poll is a really lousy way to counter John Rich's poll -- doesn't even qualify for a "nice try".

Yea, there were US troops executed at the end of WWII weren't there, a far more worthy and noble war, so these scum asses are not a representation of the great US troops over there. The scum for this war lies in the political end and the pathetic idiots lie within the voters who voted in King George.

Wow I guess we remember things differently.

Every time a Us solder is accused of murder, rape or whatever horrible things, we have the same clan of people who try to play it off. Who all of a sudden become nit pickers who want to see video of the act happening before they belive it. Oh did I mention even when they see video of the act they assume the guy crawling on the floor is caring a weapon in his ass and they always ALWAYS make excuses for the accused solders.

These are usually the same people who claim to know that the majority of Muslims want us dead because we are free. These are the same people who still think we had a reason to go to Iraq and they can not admit it was wrong in every aspect.

So there are a bunch on here who are always ready to support the troops no matter what the evidence.
What about just getting 5 years for murder? Is that fair?
I know I am talking about a lot of cases but the people who follow this stuff know what I am talking about.

Bottom line: We are in a country that we invaded wrongfully, and every inocent life that has been killed is in the chain reaction of are wrongful invasion. Any one who denies that is simply not living in the real world.

What is always funny is this. The people who claim they love this country are the ones who are fucking it up, and the ones they call traitors are the ones who are trying to save it. We should have finished the job in Afghanistan but now we finished nothing.

Don't recall too much of that here, but maybe I missed it.

"Let's wait for the jury to decide" was the bulk of comment I remember from the crowd you reference.

Oh my, there's that superior attitude of yours once again.

Your continued assertions here are that, just because you were once an iranian muslim, you therefore know better than any American possibly can, what's going on in Iraq. This reminds me of Tom Cruise, telling us all that he knows more about psychology than anyone else, because he's a leader in the church of Scientology.

But let me see if I've got your idea correct:

You assert that it's America's fault that muslims are killing other muslim families while they shop for puppies in a market, by using retarded women as their remote-control bomb delivery girls?

Also: What was responsible for the muslim-on-muslim violence in Iraq before America invaded?

John I think you have been accused of lacking reading comprehension many times on here and not just by me.

lets read what you quoted?

So other then my wrong use of "are" any thing in that sentence that you view as incorrect?

Do you have any clue on what life was like in Iraq before we invaded?

I am assuming not: The Iraqis didn’t have (choose whatever number you want in the tens of thousands) of inocent people killed, Their homes destroy, they had no Suicide bombs? There was no significant Alqudah presence according to all sources, they had running water, and electricity at least it was much more prevalent before we invaded.

Again John these are facts not dependent on what you believe. That seems to be the issue among many issues with you. You seem to not like the facts that don’t follow your views that’s your problem not mine.

I am getting tierd of pulling your card over and over again. Please make sure you have some solid facts when you decide to attack someone…………………….kind of makes me understand why you supported the war in the first place.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Guardian story

So far the only one convicted has gotten 90 years and not elegible for parole before 20 years.

So it means that within 20 years he can be on the streets again. Not exactly Texas-Stile justice.

Perhaps that has more to do with where he committed the crime than the nationality of the victim. If he'd committed the crime in Illinois he wouldn't have gotten "Texas-Stile (sic) justice" either.

Oh, pardon me. I could have sworn I've seen reports of a bunch of mass graves being uncovered, the results of Hussein's henchmen. I could have sworn that sectarian violence amongst muslims has been an ongoing thing long before America arrived. I guess I was wrong about those things. It must have just been American propaganda. Yeah, that's it.

So Iraq was the garden of Eden before America arrived. And now it's our fault that muslims are killing each other.

If you say so. Because you know more than anyone else.
