Amazon 7 #27 January 30, 2008 I used to like McCain a hell of a lot more till he started the latest election cycle with pandering to the far right wing religious whackjobs that run his party.
Andrewwhyte 1 #28 January 30, 2008 All politicians lie. It is important to figure out whether they are lying to you or to those you disagree with but you know they need support from in order to win.
kelpdiver 2 #29 January 30, 2008 McCain is typical for the crowd that blames to be straight talking, No BS, but it's just a matter of time before that fraud is exposed. In his case, years ago. It will be a real shame if come November it's a choice of him and Hillary. If it's just one of them, I'm likely to take anyone running against.
JohnRich 4 #30 January 31, 2008 Edwards isn't really out. He met with both the Clinton and Obama camps before withdrawing. I bet he has a deal to be their vice-president running mate should either of them win. They both need him to get the southern vote to beat the republicans. So look for a Clinton-Edwards ticket, or a Obama-Edwards ticket.
