A thought from a friend of mine

Hey Clem -
I had a thought (fused most of my synapses, too) about your idea of a new political party, The "Stand On Your Own Two Feet Party". If I am correct, this is the party of voters who collectively will vote out all incumbents at every political level in America, especially our House of Reps., Senate, and President. In other words, fire the old crooks and hire new ones.
It's a great idea and may just catch on. Though, I feel the name may just have to be changed to a new, improved, palateble, catchy, politically correct party name.
A few of the names I remember have been beat to death or just don't sound appetizing, such as:
"The Grass Roots Party"
"The Popular Liberation Front To Liberate The Popular People Liberation Party"
"The Mad as Hell And We're Not Going To Take It Any More Party"
"The We're A Small Group Of People Who Want To Change The World And Don't Really Know How Party"
"The It's Winter, I'm A Bored Farmer In Northern Illinois With Too Much Time On My Hands Party"

Since all I have is time left on this earth, I used seconds and seconds of it (thank you very much) and came up with the following name for a new political party.

NAT'L UNDERDOG TEAM SUPPORTERS (NUTS)

SLOGAN IDEAS - We may be nuts, but, you're gonna get fired.
We are the nuts of America.
America needs nuts like us.
Peanut, Cashew, or Pistaschio, we're still nuts.
You may think we're nuts, but we really are.


I suppose I need your help here. I have written a few ideas on our basic party precips, but they're only scattered thoughts. I feel we need to make it easy, fun, interesting, non-threatening, and worthwhile for people to exercise their vote to change the political demogodary that has become our countries' political norm.

#1 - vote out all the incumbents for at least 2-3 of their normal terms.
#2 - change the business as usual attitude of the professional politicians by limiting the number of terms they serve to a maximum of two.
#3 - etc.

This is where I need help. Can you embellish on this ? Give me more ideas ?

I do honestly feel that the average citizen of America is truly upset over how the professional political power mongers have lost track of the vision and course of America that the common man holds dear. And that those elected/hired officials have lost track.
