Ignorant Question About Canadians

Recommended Posts

Are there hip-hop ganster-wanna-be's in Canada? I just can't imagine someone saying they're from the mean streets of Winnipeg or Moose Jaw pimpin' their new pair of Nike Mukluks.

In Toronto or any other big city where the illegal drug trade is profitable because the Liberals of Canada would rather hug a thug than to punish them. Absolutely yes ...

In Winterpeg or Moose Claw? Who knows ... gangster wannabees maybe.

Where are these gangsters from? In some cases these are biker gangs meaning that "yes" they may just be Canadian born. But in many cases these gangsters controlling the illegal drug trade are immigrants, mainly from Asia.

Who opened the doors to immigration no questions asked? Who got caught red handed stealing money from the Canadian tax payer? Who waters down the criminal justice system with "hug a thug" judges? Who gave us the young offenders act where a youth can commit premeditated murder under the knowledge that the max time they will ever serve (not even in a real prison) is six years. The answer to all these questions? The LIEberal party of Canada gave us all these great "hug a thug" laws. Crime does pay in Canada!!! :P

Edmonton is a boom town. It is full of high paying jobs for the working man. The violent crime rate is quite high and the level of gang activity is going through the roof. Mainly the residents are a bit shell shocked by the apparent increase that comes with being a bigger city.

Both Winnipeg and Moose Jaw have gangs. Moose Jaw is pretty small but most of the Canadian prairie drug trade is dominated by very violent Native gangs as well as the Hell's Angels. Winnipeg's downtown is perhaps the least safe downtown district in Canada.

Is that why, the 'Jets' are no-more? I sometimes think, the way the drug problem and gang problem is in both countries, you could flop Canada over, onto the U.S. and probably couldn't tell the difference. We have the same 'hug-a-thug' judges, too damned many bought-off politicians and noone really willing to take a stand in the right direction. Like all politicians, when they run for office, they say what their 'spin-doctors' tell them to say to get votes. They all want a piece of the 'big business' and durg cash-cow.

Answer #1: The jets are no more because the government of Manitoba believes that public money should be used to build rinks for kids to play on, not millionaires working for billionaires. Those bastards in Phoenix on the other hand subsidized the fuck out of the new rink and stole our team with all the jobs that go with it. This is in direct violation of the free trade agreement- fuckers.

Answer #2: Winnipeg is a city of about 650 000 people with a very undynamic corporate base. When the NHL fiscal framework rose to the level it is at today Winnipeg simply couldn't continue to support the team. Essentially the NHL outgrew the city (same thing for Quebec City).

I appreciate hearing that from someone 'outside' the NHL. The Nordiques and Jets were fun to watch play!! Then too, Tie Domi did pretty good in Toronto. This dumb-assed NHL commisioner, pushing for teams in the Southern U.S. is nuts. Atlanta wouldn't support the Flames so, they moved to Calgary. I would think, because so many people have moved from the Northern States to Southern States, Southern teams might stand a chance. Besides, we have so many NHL teams and the way the scheduling is, it's gotten ridiculous. The 'player pool' has gotten too shallow along the way. It's just too damned bad, Winnipeg lost the Jets and Quebec lost the Nordiques. Money doesn't talk... it screams![:/]

Up there especially this time of year I would think they would be the Hell's Frozen Over Angels.

They seem to be a favourite for the police up here. An anti-gang law as created for the sole purpose of going after them, and they have been targetted relentlessly by the cops up here so they seem to be going through difficult times. What I can't seem to understand is why the cops aren't also using these anti-gang laws to go after some of these street gangs in Toronto. The laws seem to be pretty effective when used against a gang soit would only make sense for them to apply them to the other gangs here, but for some reason they have yet to do so.
My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.
