How many here have pulled one on a human w/ intent to kill? I have and it saved my life. Lucky (for him) the guy fled. Cops said I had every right to kill him. He got six months in jail when they caught him. Shoulda been more IMO.

I never have had to. Hope that doesnt change. I walked out on to my property thinking someone was lurking, I had my 9mm Smith with me but I (thank God) never found anyone.

Glad you did not have to shot the bastard. I do not know how I would feel if I ever had to do it.

I have. And I was ready! Thankful or not, it was HIS decision to come AT me and my buddy with his hand/arm behind his back like he had a gun in his back waist ban... I was NOT gonna waste anytime in trying to find out. He gave me about 30yards of him walking like this to us, so I took defensive action immediatlyI had me and my friend to defend (my friend in between us, very very bad situation)as well as three daughters to raise. I was gonna do what I had to do at the time.
I suppose I am thankful, but he was a thug! and some of those just cant be rehabed. (you wanna ask ME "whom are you to judge?" go ahead) I know this isnt Christian of me, but he was at that moment going to be a complete waste of sperm!!!!

i haven't and hopefully never will.

i don't carry because i'm afraid that i would hesitate and get myself killed.

i don't have any guns accessable in my home because i have children and i think the chances of an accident are far greater than having to use it in defence.

Never actually had to "pull" one but letting it be known that I had one in my posession, certainly negated the need to do so, on a few occasions. I like to think of it as "visual diplomacy".

I've never had to pull a gun out. Have had to pull a knife out several times but never a gun thank God.

There was a real problem a number of years back with road rage bullies in the town I lived in. I had just been to the gun store to pick up a rifle being repaired and had rifle and some extra ammo in the back seat. Pulled over into a parking lot when the idiot attempted to ram me. He pulled in wanting to fight, so I decided to end the issue and pulled the only thing handy, a 3006 rifle. Fortunately, the other guy left when he saw me racking the bolt.

Never had to pull with intent fortunately, but I did have to show it once to diffuse a situation that was about to get really bad. It never left the holster but still did the job as a drunken redneck with a club was convinced he had picked the wrong target that night...

As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD...
