lawrocket 3 #2 December 26, 2007 There are none of them who match me even 1/2 the time. Here's how they looked to me. Giuliani - 41% Richardson - 40% Obama - 39% Huckabee - 37% Clinton - 35% Paul - 35% Edwards - 34% McCain - 33% Biden - 31% Dodd - 30% Kucinich - 30% Hunter - 28% Thompson - 28% Gravel - 26% Romney - 22% So, this apparently confirms my notion that there isn't a damned bit of difference between the parties My wife is hotter than your wife. livendive 8 #3 December 26, 2007 Some of the questions were poorly worded. Does "allow churches to provide welfare services" mean exactly that? Because yes, I certainly think they should be allowed to provide welfare services. However if there's an implied component that includes state funding of such programs, I'm opposed. Similarly, what does "Should taxes be made more progressive?" mean? Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

Similarly, what does "Should taxes be made more progressive?" mean? I think that's the fault of the politicians in general, not this particular quiz. If the quiz had clear, conscise questions with clear, concise answers then how would you honestly match the answers to a particular politician? When candidates only use vague, 'truthy' soundbites to describe their policies then the quiz has to use vague, 'truthy' style questions to match you up with them.Do you want to have an ideagasm? warpedskydiver 0 #5 December 27, 2007 I did it and got Fred Dalton Thompson. I wonder who also got the same answer and would like to discount it, or claim otherwise. I think many voters would be in for a suprise if they answered honestly.
Vallerina 2 #6 December 27, 2007 Nothing too surprising... Dodd, Clinton and Edwards were at the top, and Hunter, Huckabee and Romney were at the bottom. Dodd was only at 60%. I guess that means he's the least of all evils? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
CanuckInUSA 0 #7 December 27, 2007 Edwards 40% McCain 40% Paul 40% Dood 35% Giuliani 35% Thompson 35% Clinton 30% Gravel 30% Richardson 30% Huckabee 28% Kucinich 28% Obama 28% Romney 28% Biden 23% Hunter 23% Two things to keep in mind: 1) None of these clowns ranks very high as a match. 2) I won't be voting anyway. Tink1717 2 #8 December 27, 2007 I might be better able to asses this if I had ever heard of the candidate I was matched to.Skydivers don't knock on Death's door. They ring the bell and runaway... TheAnvil 0 #9 December 27, 2007 Interesting toy. My tops were McCain, Paul, and Romney with Kucinich at the bottom. Not far off, I would think, but not exactly a match either.
