chuteless 1 #3 December 25, 2007 I believe that Christmas, as a celebration of the birth of Jesus, will be abolished within five years. It will instead, be turned into a commercial holiday, rather than being a Holy day. It is almost totally that now, but there will be a total elimination of all Christmas carols, and any mention of Jesus Christ....by law.

Is this another one of your prophesies, gained via your hotline w/the Jesus? There's never been a ban on any of these things outside of the Government sphere, where it had no place in the first place. But, I digress. Enjoy your Christmas, sir.Illinois needs a CCW Law. NOW. Andy9o8 3 #5 December 25, 2007 As a point of clarification, do you mean that, within 5 years, it will be abolished (a) everywhere in the world, without exception? or (b) certain places where it now is permitted, but not necessarily everywhere in the world? Well if it's so commercial then why is it that I can't find a fucking place open? It seems in years past I could find 1 grocery store open limited hours, a few fast food places, etc. Now I saw 1 Jack in eth Box open and convenience stores, period. I'm glad to see workers get the day off, but I hate the inconvenience. I'd say your prophecy is waaaaaaaaaaaay off the mark.

You could have gone to the store last week and stocked up.

You could have gone to the store last week and stocked up. As I stated, in years past there was something open on Xmas day. Also, I worked 66 hours last week as well as a 1-hour drive each way, so I hardly had the time. Now, back to the point.

jakee 1,611 #12 December 26, 2007 Quote “Our enemies are everywhere,” replied the man with the covered face, “and they are wishing you a happy holiday season.” “Do such people really exist? Or do we all simply assume that they exist?” asked Vishnu. “I assure you that they do exist,” said the Christian. “And moreover, I derive no satisfaction what - so - ever from thinking that I’m being persecuted. No sir.” What a perfect description of the "and proud of it!" threadDo you want to have an ideagasm?
