masterrig 1 #10 December 16, 2007 What Nashville is putting out now is 'cookie cutter' singers who all sound alike. Real 'country' music is Waylon, Porter, Dolly, Hank Snow, Ernest Tubb, Bill Monroe, and of course the 'King' of Texas Swing, Bob Wills and folks of that era. Todays so-called country sounds like middle of the road rock.As for music, I like just about all of it... except rap and hip-hop! JMO Shame on me! I left out Willie!!!
