The guy definitely has to be a Liberal. Everything is always a Govt. Conspiracy and they are always whining about someone trying to take away their rights. :D:D:D

No - he must be a gun owner. Read anything on the gun lobby/2nd Amendment rights sites recently?:P

When the term, "rights" comes up in conversation, t that refers inalienable US Constitutional rights. These rights are typically:

1st - free speech, religion, assembly
2nd - gun ownership
4th - prot against unreas search/seizure
5th - prot agaist self incrim
6th - right to counsel
8th - prot fro cruel / unusual punishment
14th - due process

That is a quick overview of rights, as in protect our rights. What you're saying when you claim the conservatives save the rights to have your money not taken from you is more along the line of you preferring Republican fiscal policy, not some right.

So let's explore Republican fiscal policy and them protectin your, "right" to keep your money.

We have been a debtor nation since 1840, it increased thru the decades, dropping in the 1920's, during Eisenhower's term and stared to dip at the end of Clinton's term. But it was manageable and increased primarily during wars. So let's examine the start of Reagan's term where it was basically flatline and at 1 trillion.

1981 = 1T
1989 = 3T (increasing at 250B/yr)
1993 = 4T (increasing at 250B/yr)
2001 = 5.5T (230B surplus)
NOW = 9.1T and increasing at a large rate.

This chart will show you:

http://www.cedarcomm.com/~stevelm1/usdebt.htm

So how does that cost you? For starters, the value of the dollar.

1993 $1 USD = 1.27 Canadian
2001 $1 USD = 1.55 Canadian
Now $1 USD = < 1.00 Canadian

SO who is protecting your dollar? When we spend 45% of the worlds military budget, probably >60% if you count Congressional war expenditures, that's where your dollar is going, altho it is more pallatable for some to blame the homeless and impoversihed getting a few scraps here and there than it is blame the mega rich.

>>>>>>>>>we also like the right to live without being blown up by terrorists.

2 ways to fix that:

1) Guard borders
2) Quit being such Imperialists and doing things like invading countries, threatening countries, etc.

Aren't liberals fucked that way, I mean conservatives support the abolition of rights.

I think you are a little mis informed. Conservatives want to keep the right to thier own money.

So whose money should be paying for Bush's war, then?

They want the right to not have to spend it on illegal immigrants

Maybe businesses should stop hiring illegals, then.

so on and so on

we also like the right to live without being blown up by terrorists.

Then why support a policy that is breeding terrorists faster than OBL's wettest dream?
