kelpdiver 2 #8 November 28, 2007 QuoteWatch who you call a coward, especially if you are a wimpy conspiracy theory Michael Moore type. Of course he is a coward. He ran a quarter mile miles away on a million part plane built by the lowest bidder to avoid Vietnam. Sadly, can't see this clip till I get home. Sounds like it is good for him Gus isn't around. If he tried that line with him he might get strangled.

lurch 0 #11 November 28, 2007 There are very few cases where I'd applaud somebody assaulting somebody else... But this is one of them. Buzz is one of the last of the great American heroes, part of the one event that could arguably be called the pinnacle of human civilization. Although our tech has improved since then, our society has become a lot more degenerate and I doubt we'll ever see that kind of greatness again in our lifetimes, possibly for centuries, maybe EVER. The little shit that got in his face should show some fuckin' respect. Did NOT know who he was fuckin with. -BLive and learn... or die, and teach by example. n23x 0 #12 November 28, 2007 God, some of you guys sound like you'd suck him off if you ever met him. Granted, he did an awesome (and I mean truly awesome) thing, but he should also recognize that he's in the public eye, he still does interviews, and as such will possibly have to deal with accusations of fraud. This is also not the first time he did it (I believe the first time was on Letterman, and without provocation). At least this guy was getting in his face... The guy should have knocked him one back, "Hey guys, I got one of Aldrins teeth!". They're both pricks. .jim "Don't touch my fucking Easter eggs, I'll be back monday." ~JTFC

n23x 0 #16 November 28, 2007 You know, a 14 year old girl might make the same arguement about britney spears driving her kids around on drugs. Being a celebrity or hero in someone's eye doesn't excuse them from acts of violence, or exclude them from the law. They're BOTH still pricks. .jim"Don't touch my fucking Easter eggs, I'll be back monday." ~JTFC
kelpdiver 2 #17 November 28, 2007 Quote Being a celebrity or hero in someone's eye doesn't excuse them from acts of violence, or exclude them from the law. the law probably concludes that he got what he asked for. You intrude on the personal space (he was well closer than that) of a old man and call him a coward and a liar after being asked to step back, shit happens. You aren't allowed to provoke a fight and then whine when it happens. It would be the funniest 911 call ever.

KelliJ 0 #21 November 28, 2007 If I drive you to meet Buzz at his next public appearance will you call him a prick to his face? I think it would be funny to see Buzz pop you one right in the nose. Honestly, though, being called a prick by someone with cat whiskers (those are cat whiskers, right?) painted on their face would probably just make him laugh. I'm impressed with neither one of them. But in the back on my mind, ...... So maybe, since I don't want to legislate assholes being respectful, then maybe they should see the personal consequences of what they say and do. ...
