lawrocket 3 #1 November 27, 2007 Mark Everson, the President of the American Red Cross, was asked to resign by the Board of Directors and DID resign on the basis of a "personal relationship" with a subordinate employee. "[The Board] concluded that the situation reflected poor judgment on Mr. Everson's part and diminished his ability to lead the organization in the future" said a press statement. Now, what if this is consensual? Was it only a bj? What's wrong with the head of an organization getting some nookie from an underling? Now, Mr. Everson just got done with a stint as head of the IRS. A Republican, he was with the Dubya administration in certain roles from August, 2001. He also worked with Reagan starting in 1982 and going through 1988. Now, why should ANYONE ever question a person for getting his head wet by a subordinate employee? We've had a POTUS get in trouble for it, but it was a consensual act between the head of the US Government and a "subordinate employee." Could it be because of a misuse of power? Clinton himself said he did what he did with Lewinsky because he "could." "I did something for the worst possible reason. Just because I could," Clinton said in a 60 Minutes interview. "I think that's just about the most morally indefensible reason anybody could have for doing anything." And why was it that Clinton "could?" Could it be because he had power? Could it be that the head of a company has some power with "subordinate employees?" What Everson did is indefensible. It DOES call into question his judgment and a "diminished ability" to lead an organization. Any time a person in a position of power over another person gets some action, it is indefensible and indicative of serious judgment problems. I wonder why so many people think it's "just a bj." It is so much more than that. My wife is hotter than your wife.

Because usually, men who do this kind of thing are quietly congratulated or admired." Very well said. Of course, in one case, the guy who did this was openly congratulated because it was "just a bj" between "consenting adults." My wife is hotter than your wife.
