I have to say this year flying was a breeze. I had a connection on the way there and back, and every thing went smooth and there were no delays.

I flew on Wednesday and Sunday, and my experiences with airport parking, shuttle, security line and timeliness of flights both directions were all better than the last time I flew (about a month ago on a Thursday evening). I didn't check luggage this time around, but I walked by the line and it didn't look very long either.

Not too bad. Delays of 15 minutes and 1 hour respectively. Planes were significantly fuller than normal, traffic was pretty bad at the terminal itself, but it wasn't impossible.

Flight was delayed by 1.5 hours. However, since they announced a 2.5 hour delay everyone was pleased. I **suspect** it was just a ploy by the airline to stop people from grumbling.

That seems to be true. I've noted that when everything works well, flights now get in about 30 minutes early. Might be a way to keep "on time" numbers up.

My flight back home was 25 min early as well.

No problems/delays Wed or Sunday flying ATL to COS & back.

Flying out tonight to DCA, already see delays at ATL ... speculate mostly weather as our ceiling is at ~500ft.

I'm going to vote that it was pretty bad. In Kansas city, it was a breeze. No lines, no delays, and my flight to Vegas was only 1/3 full.

No, leaving McCarren at Vegas was a Nightmare. 2 1/2 hour line through Security, and our plane sat on the ground for 30 minutes AFTER being delayed 1 1/2 hours due to traffic. Looking out the window, all traffic was just other big airliners, one Air Hawaii, Chinese National Airline, et cetera et cetera. I couldn't help but think that blaming private aircraft is Bullshit.

No delays to speak of. Both times the departure was delayed for ~10 minutes to allow other passengers to make connections to my flights, but there was so much slack in the schedules we arrived on time anyway.

Security was fast if sketchy. On one flight I was carrying an antique solid silver cigarette box, a little shorter but wider and thicker than a paperback. Didn't draw a blink from the xray goon... I was under the assumption that it would be totally opaque in the xray scanner and would have drawn a bag check -- I'd once brought on a pair of cufflinks that came in a foil lined box and that took about 5 minutes of re-scans till the xray goon isolated it from my bag and satisfied himself with its construction.

My advice is to do what your parents did; get a job, sir. The bums will always lose. Do you hear me, Lebowski?

The weather is terrible here in New York. Heavy fog with scattered showers. My drive home from the airport tonight was bad. It is really thick.
